About
About Michael Fate
Michael Fate is a self-taught Swiss composer and producer from Neuchâtel, known for his cinematic soundtracks and melodic electronic music. Born in 1979, he started making music when he was three, and he hasn't really stopped since. Over more than 25 years his sound has moved from the energetic trance of the late-90s underground scene to the orchestral, cinematic compositions he is known for today.
His music covers a lot of ground: melodic electronic tracks, emotional piano pieces and full orchestral soundtracks. The 1997 debut EP on B-Twelve Records introduced the cult track Chicken Acid. Later works such as Fly Away and Marysia, viewed more than 200,000 times on social media, show a warmer, more symphonic side built on piano, strings and choir.
